For the launch of the new BMW 3 Series Sport Sedan in South Africa, our challenge was to position it as the ultimate driver’s car, emphasizing its innovation and dynamic performance while continuing its legacy. We knew our audience, driven professionals who constantly strive for improvement, would respond to a campaign that mirrored their personal and professional growth. To reach them effectively, we leveraged LinkedIn, a platform that speaks directly to their ambitions.

We developed an industry first rich media banner that delivered a uniquely personalized experience. Users logged in via LinkedIn or Facebook, and in real time, the banner generated a custom infographic illustrating their professional progress over the last six years. This was seamlessly paralleled with the evolution of the BMW 3 Series over six generations, reinforcing the brand’s relentless pursuit of innovation.

Users could download their infographic as a wallpaper or share it across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, turning personal achievements into social engagement.
